Yes; he was out of status from March 2003. However; he had a valid I-94 card until February 2004. He didn't have a valid I-94 from February 2004 until april 2004.

This is a good idea. But tough to sell unless basic policy is changed. In USA any immigration has limit in numbers except a few category like spouses of US citizens. It is difficult to change that. When you put 8 years that means unlimited green cards. If they do that universities like TVU will be running full capacity and new universities will be started similar to that. Actually there should be some system to clean up univerity admission and also H1B so that genuine persons can come here easily.
Anyhow it is good idea to bring a bill like this and and see what happens. Still bills like recapture or modest rise of GC numbers will have a better chance of passing in congress

Pls use this site for any issues and their resolution, Not to create despair and panic with your posts..Eb2 or Eb3 are mostly employer's choice rather than your skills in most of the cases if you work for a desi company. Doesn't mean that Eb2 is not higher than Eb3.

Looks like my pledge will never ever happen :rolleyes: I am itching to press that button to send $500, but the forum is not helping the cause.....
Come on IVians ..... Is it so difficult to make you adults understand that the thurst we need year would be the biggest...do you want the tech lobbyist to increase only H1B's (remember they have lot of money). Guys we will lost in the crowd if don't prepare ourselves for the forthcoming face offs next year. We are closing in on the traget, but only thing which can make it happen is more members and more money.

Just ignore the accusations. Two things here. Firstly, people are really frustrated here with all the GC stuff. Secondly, there has been lot of Anti-immigrants coming in and trying to disrupt the forums, making people inherently suspicious.

EVERYONE should contact their Congressman and let them know just how important this is.

There's a soft lud yesterday on our 485 and I-140 online cases status. Although it doesn't mean anything I got a quick question. Does an infopass appointment trigger soft LUD's. Yesterday we were suppose to attend an infopass appointment and got delayed in a traffic jam and were late by 10 mins and had to cancel the appointment.
Also we recently filed AC21 due to a change in employer. Do you think that would be the reason?
