Hats off to IV core for sowing the seeds of today, 2 years ago. All the effort and sacrifice has come to fruition. Also, IV has got great media attention and has become a force to reckon with. Lets Party tonight.

Even though $100 was not a minimum, I think that there was a psychological barrier of having it as the first visible option on the contribution page that was deterring a lot of users (including yours truly).
I encourage everyone on this forum to come forward and do this.

According to DHS statistics there are around 50,000 EB2 lndia Labors in 2004 and 2005 each. So ppl with 2005, 2006 priority dates you can wait around 6-7 years for ur priority dates to be current with annual limit of around 5000 for EB2 India.
The lawsuit can be filed by your American Civil Liberties Union Member or ur aunt or uncle or mistress who is a US citizen. U guys and gals with 485's will not be there in the lawsuit but will benefit if the lawsuit wins.

I THINK I made a contribution of $20. The reason I say "think" is because I used my CC to make the payment and the CC I used is not linked to the Paypal acc.
I'm confused because the message said that I'll see it in my Paypal statment.
I hope it went through without any hassles.

She had her delivery in a hospital which automatically assures adequate care for the child (paid for by the good citizens of Maricopa county, i should add).

With all the experience our guys have with USCIS officers and staff, it's hard to belive an IO would be that helpful? But, she's and even the staff at this office is not as bad as others have experienced.
I was even telling my wife about the behaviour and how staff at other offices behave.

I have a similar problem. In all my documents i just have one name as given name from childhood no surname or initials.
In passport given name is : XXX
And surname is : blank
In my H4 stamping they made it
Given name : FNU (First name unknow)
Last Name : XXX
So in my medical record and I-94, I-797 in US i use FNU XXX. I am planning to apply with this name itself as i feel it may take a while and is not safe to go to indain embassy and have a name change with this short time.
I plan to have my husbands name as my last name later.
Can i do it after filing for 485 or getting GC. Do reply.

Out of time and out of place idea is as good as hurting yourself. .... Our 5 PM meeting was with a Congressman himself and had a Core team member, myself and another member who was later offered an unpaid Internship by a lobbying firm. Just when we were wondering why the position would be unpaid we were told that the reason for being unpaid was because the green card process for the member accepting the position would be reset since it would not fall under same or similar category which made all of us crack up.
Was this intern an IV member or was this intern a member of the staff - and is the lobby firm that hired him working on fixing immigration issues?
Our closing meeting went on until 11 after which each one of us took our Action items and next steps to take back to our districts. Everyone we met over the past couple of days told us to keep up the work we have been doing for the past few years. Good work and great follow through always leads to good results.
